 The Impact Summit Program
How does using Impact Summit benefit my dealership?

In today’s market environment, dealers are seeing their hiring and related costs skyrocket. Newspaper classified ad costs are going through the roof, and allocating staff at the dealership to interview and train new hires often puts a burden on dealership resources.

Impact Summit does the advertising for you and then when we identify candidates with a keen business sense and an aptitude for sales.  This saves your dealership time and money.

What do you provide in your training class?

We use many of our lesson plans from our successful CRM training that dealers have been utilizing over the years.  We address the importance of quality customer service, treating prospects like guests, handling their objections, identifying their needs, and when and how to close prospects.  Additionally we role play and give candidates an opportunity to react to real life situations in the dealership.

Does our dealership have control over the candidates we want to hire?

Yes, you have complete control over who you hire, but in the effort of fairness, the selection process is setup simliar to the NFL draft. The most appealing graduates will most likely be selected early in the selection process. Once a dealership selects a graduate, the decision to hire the candidate then falls into the hands of the dealership. We think this is the most fair way to serve our clients.

To help faciliate the selection processes, instructors also rate various attributes of the graduates and try to identify which ones would be a good fit for the dealerships in our program. There could also be instances where a graduate would interview at two dealerships, and see which one would be the better fit. Our goal is not to put “a warm body” on the showroom floor, but create a long term career opportunity that benefits both the dealership and our graduate.

 How are the fees structured?

Dealerships pay us nothing up front. Our program is strictly a pay for performance model. Candidates pay a nominal fee to attend our two day training session. After the class is completed Instructors complete a graduate assessment for each candidate. We then make recommendations to participating dealers and the graduates. If and when the dealership hires one of our graduates, they agree to pay Impact Summit a pre-specified reasonible fee based on the performance of graduate. After that there is no further obligation by the dealership to Impact Summit.

Does Impact Summit offer ongoing training opportunities for other sales team members at the dealership?

Yes. Impact Summit has a number of in-house training programs that can be offered to dealership sales and management personnel including Internet, CRM and/or BDC team members.
